As Senior Project Manager for the Worcester Regional Food Hub, Shon Rainford provides strategic leadership, as well as day-to-day oversight of all aspects of the Food Hub’s core operations. Shon also provides business consultation to Kitchen members.
Shon joined the Food Hub in February 2018 after leading teams at Heifer International, an organization that works with small farmers around the world to end hunger and poverty, as well as Middleton Place, a National Historic Landmark in Charleston, South Carolina. Prior to joining the non-profit world, Shon owned and operated a small retail business.
Shon is passionate about local, healthy food and supporting small farmers and businesses. He lives with his wife and four children on a small farm in Rutland, Massachusetts raising chickens and bees.

As Sales Manager, Susannah oversees the purchasing, sales, and distribution of local food from the farms and producers in the Worcester Regional Food Hub’s network.
Susannah came to the Food Hub in May 2017 from an almost decades-long career in wholesale organic produce sales in North Carolina. Originally from southeastern MA, she developed an interest in the importance of sustainable food and farming systems while living in VT and working summers on several small, family owned farms and restaurants. She enjoys using her background to contribute to central Massachusetts’ vibrant regional food economy.
Susannah lives in Worcester and loves exploring the area farmers markets and ice cream stands, and is excited to grow as many sweet potatoes as she can this summer.

As Kitchen Operations Manager, Neil Rogers guides food entrepreneurs to successfully run food businesses. Awarded Worcester’s Best Chef in 2014 and most recently the Executive Chef de Cuisine at Niche Hospitality, Neil got his start in Worcester at the Struck Café and moved up through the restaurant world, working for celebrity chef Tim Love and for Max Restaurant Group locations in West Hartford, CT. Neil lives in Worcester with his wife, Alicia, his children and his dog, Toby.
